All the world comes to know this special occasion of today without taking a look at the calendar.It is Chirstmas today,a real big day for all westerners, particularly for Christians all around the globe.I'm typical chinese and non-Chiristian ,so it means less to me .In spite of my  indifference toward X'mas,I still find it necessary to record something on this special occasion.As far as I know, people all over China(Taiwan included) are not given any official holiday for it which never diminishes chinese people's enthusiasm to the celebrations of Jesus Christ's birthday.Streets are clogged with young people dressed up in chirstmas,posters of Santa Claus are everywhere.Western resturants are crammed and not a seat available in it.In sharp contrast to all the abundent celebrations of this exotic festival,our traditional Chinese new year is put in a awkward position.Nowadays it won't be hard for us to hear such things like "Chinese new year is fading "or "the spring festival is no more than a seven -day holiday".

What is wanna say is just We should cherish and preserve our own culture to make our nation a giant of unique culture standing proudly among other nations.

 

We are far from relieved even if 3 tests have been tackled ,as new task is laid down.As is known to you all,I'm never good at computer programming,not to mention in VC++.net about which I alsmost kown nothing .Unfortunately ,our project is to develop a system in VC++.net in just two weeks' time.We are asked to choose from 40 projects(all the same difficulit) ,and are not allowedto work on the same project.So the 27 students of the class drew cuts to see which project each one would settle.It turned out my project is to develp a system for flats and appartment rent.That's much too hard!!!

明天要考试了,抽象代数和计算机图形学,后天还要考数据结构.两天考三门,实在是难啊.估计我刚刚考完抽象代数,我的计算机图形学知识都忘光了. 其实星期六我还有一个商务英语口语的考试,不过那个对我来说比较简单,不足为惧.过了这一段,我就会比较轻松.因为后面的几门考试在下个月,其中又有两门是开卷考试.不过VC++ .net还真是麻烦的东西,一个学期下来,我对它了解的很少.希望通过下周的课程设计,多学点东西,这样至少考试的时候不会很痛苦!

When I was about 16 ,it was a time that the Northeast of China was just under the Japanese colonization.I applied to enter a well-known polytechic run by the Japanese.With a good multitude of applicants to test,they had very high requirement and strict rules.We had to be subject to interviews even after passing the paper test.

  Along with other young guys who looked about the same age as I,I queued up outside an office where the interview went on.I saw people coming out of the office with theri hands muffling the red face and a pained expression.Finally it was my turn to be interviewed.

 The interviewers were two Japanese men.One was an elderly man and they other was an middle-aged armyman wearing a Japanese moustache.They appeard solemn to me ,not a smile on their face."Why do u wanna  study here?"he asked. "I wanna be a manager one day"I replied.

"But this school is to train the employees " he said,"I can start as an employee!"I answered without any hesitation."Are u sure to be a manager?","Sure I can" I'm fully encouraged."What a careerist!"added he."This is not careerism but ambition,sir!" I refuted decissively .After a few questions like that,all of a sudden ,the man with moustache shouted at me "satnd up". "yes sir"I standed .and he added "come to me !"I did as the order,before I know where I was, the man slapped me on the face very hard and asked "How do u feel now?".Realizing  why other guys coming out of the office muffling their face ,I came to an idea.Exerting all my strength,I gave a slap back on his cheek,and I was assured and bold with justice to say"This is just how I felt!!"

Three weeks later  the result was annouced that I was admitted to that polytechnic.

University offers a new type of pastime which is cheap fun and ,the most important,can drive people out of mind.It's not like u imagine to be something dirty,it's just like we close friends huddle together dining and drinking on some special occasions or unimportant occasians if we like. Not having got together for so long (last time maybe during Xiang's birthday),and Owing to the scholarship given,we dined out again yesterday evening.In the parties before I played the role of a good boy who did not drink being sober enough to help the drunk people find theri way home,but this time I was not good anymore,and i did drink plenty.Xing did a poor job,he just had 3 glasses before got drunk.Qing just kept filling  other people's glaasses instead of emptying his own bottle.All of us were staggering home after the party me included this time,but I still need no one to help me find my way.Back in drom,other people vomited and went to sleep while I persisted in surfing online.It proved my ability of drinking!!!
